CJD specialist Dr C. Bruton was killed in a car crash just before he went public with a new research paper. The veterinarian on the case also died in a car crash. This tracks. I have been convinced for well over a decade that most of what I'm witnessing is downstream effects of bioaccumulation of man-made chemicals.
Given that very little research is done on health risks posed due to environmental exposure, consider that NO RESEARCH WHATSOEVER is done on how these chemicals interact when they encounter each other in the wild.
Think of the permutations of 86k rogue chemicals in the environment and the resultant Frankencompounds created when they combine.

First, it is not likely that any animal on a farm, remote from such sources, could possibly receive a radiation wave intensity high enough to change an elemental form of iron into a viable crystal. Second, I see no data that even one farm had "x" overflights of fighter jets at low altitude; that such overflights resulted in "y" intensity levels of "z" radiation. This appears to be all theory and no meat.
With no data directly proving, even anecdotal data, this all seems much ado about nothing.

The idea of prions or misfolded proteins causing this is delusional.
Every day, bodies deal with broken proteins. They get disposed of.
The build up of such things is not the cause of disease but the result of disease.
In the case of CJD in cows there are many factors as the author has stated.
