The immune system is complex! There are some important fundamental distinctions on immune cells worth learning more about…

Here’s an opportunity: IPAK-EDU has a learn-at-home course starting this month all about the immune system, how it works, and its impact on disease, including cancer.

THE BIOLOGY OF THE IMMUNE SYSTEM

I would also add that the identification of the gut as playing a vital role in the immune system (@goddeketal and @SabinehazanMD on twitter, at least one of them has a substack I think) also plays into this idea of man's oneness with the ecosphere (discussed in article and comments) in that we ("individuals") are not a single body but comprise a complex ecosystem which is poorly understood, and probably never will be.

"So, with all that said, I feel highly qualified to talk about cancer, immunity and covid vaccines, as only someone who doesn’t know much about all three can".

And with a damn sight more honesty and integrity than any authorities and most doctors.

Have you come across Brian Mowrey’s substack ? This article is about IgG4 but only in the context of allowing persistent infections, not relating to cancer here. He has a facetious comedy style of writing sometimes with a heavy sense of irony ( as demonstrated by his latest post ‘ A Cardiologist Explains...) so do persist! He first wrote about the IgG4 paper 5 months ago when it was in pre-print. He is very analytical and often has a slightly different nuance on all the topics discussed in the substacks.

I have but hadn’t seen that one, thanks 🙏

"Epoptosis is a type of economic death that occurs during the abnormal development and functioning of an organisation. It is a highly regulated process that involves the deactivation of specific businesses that cause the economy to undergo structural changes and be dismantled in a controlled manner."

Very few word changes required.

Important topic. The Immune System 101 is good in some respects, but glosses over important aspects. I recognize the intent is to make it simple, but there’s simplifying, and then there is over-simplification. Just my 2 cents.

Unbekoming's avatar

That's the reason for the Varela essay, to make the point that the simplification inherent in 101 is an oversimplification that renders it wrong. So, I agree with you.

TFish's avatar

Hmm, that’s a bit unconvincing for me. I’m not speaking of an alternative view on the immune system. The 7 point list highlighted at the outset omits too much and doesn’t do adequate justice to the truly incredible biology of the immune system.

I could not access the Varela essay in full, so perhaps that would change my read. And not saying the quoted bits from Valera are incongruent either.

The link to the pdf is working at my end, unfortunately I cannot directly upload it. But I think you will find that it makes your point precisely and elegantly.

If you email me at unbekoming@outlook.com I will send it to you directly.

I would like to learn more about the immune system. I'm specifically curious about what evolutionary biology has to say as to who the various layers of it evolved. Additionally, if the layers evolved separately at all then how did the integration of them go? How much can what happens in the cardiovascular system effect what happens in the mucousal layer and vice verca?

While I want to learn more I don't have a set plan on how to go about it. So I guess I'll stick with substack immunology osmosis for now

Too much dissection of a lot of speculative science. Ditto for mechanistic arguments. No one knows for sure. These are suitable for rabbinical debates not medicine. The only thing that counts in clinical medicine is empiricism. Proper studies and case reports. Unfortunately the studies are ALL ruined by financial interests. This sort of thing is all we have that is meaningful, and there is FAR more of it: "Even before the boosters were rolled out to the public, the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) of the Dept of Health and Human Services (HHS) showed vastly more cancers following COVID vaccines than for all other vaccines during the 30-year history of VAERS. These new cancers following the COVID vaccines accounted for 97.3% of cancers reported.

As a former oncologist and tumor immunologist, you did quite well. Bravo. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

That was great! Thank you.

My opinion. God created a perfect human being. The vaccines altered/killed his perfect creation. There MUST BE CONSEQUENCES! THIS SPIKE PROTEIN IS MURDER!

Excellent pickup, thank you. I have relied on an ai assistant in parts, and it can pump out BS "approved" narrative which I generally clean up but missed that one. 👍

Thank you! I saw that and it almost made me stop reading expecting further BS

I kinda thought that, but gave the benefit of the doubt that it might be a typo. I know sometimes I am typing along, my brain going way faster than my fingers, and I leave out words or add words that change the entire meaning of my sentence. ......Then there's all the regular typos. 😐🙄😕

I think one take away from all this, is that they know what they have done, but rather than explain it through a "depopulation" lens, I think it's better understood through a "they don't care" lens.
