And the result is always the same - Kill the Messenger (villify the person bringing the report of yet another of those 'oh so rare' vaccine reactions). I am likewise a follower of Christ, although far from where I should be or hope to be. But I never fail to get full-on PISSED when I see these stories. I will never forget the story told me by a prominent member of our small community - a local businessman telling me of his grandchild, "his little tractor buddy" - who went thru a similar metamorphosis post-vaccination. May God's grace continue to shine on you and your family Laura. The Unbekoming Army is a great community to be part of and will help you in any way they can!

I'm just an average guy who happens to read a lot and has a fairly good memory (although don't ask 'Welcome the Eagle' about that), and sees patterns. My 37yr old son, is seeking a diagnosis of autism following a primary school friend, recently reporting via social media, autism diagnosis has given him peace of mind, a successful construction worker.
A few years back, my son suggested a need to speak to a mental health therapist, he later admitted, he'd considered throwing himself off the railway bridge not a ten minute walk away.
His father punched walls when he realised he couldn't control everything around him, likewise I'm aware my son did this twice, out of fear, believing he wouldn't complete his academic training, due to unavailable finances. He's an artist, has an innate talent, as well as learning from some of the greatest talents across the hemisphere. He's brilliant, loving, kind to all, compassionate; what he has done all his life, is pause before answering or joining in conversations, sometimes for over an hour, then he responds as if only just spoken to. For at least 15yrs I've understood this is attributable to a brain engaged in creativity.
All he wants now is to know, if he is autistic. He wonders as a 12yr old, given general anaesthesia for gastroenterology examination, was this the starting point. I believe his brain swells or similar. I know he's exceptionally clever and has ability to learn many subjects. This worries me as i gave consent for everything except, his removal from my bedside as a 3 day old baby, in the maternity ward, apparently, i slept deeply and couldn't be woken, taken to the nursery where he was bottle fed (i was furious and wonder what else did they do in there), we were also detained in hospital, until i was vaccinated for rubella. Despite having a card on file, confirming previous vaccination. That shot was hit right into my shoulder through a cotton sleeve, without consent. I exclaimed, I'm breast feeding to which the doctors response was, 'Get her out of here, you aren't fit to be a mother'.
I worry, it's all connected.
I'll never know how mothers and fathers deal with the harms that are clear as in Laura's son. It hurts my soul.
May God watch over these families always. I admire your integrity.
To people who say "are you an anti-vaxxer?", perhaps we should reply "no, i think we should inject poison into babies as soon as they are born, and continue to poison them throughout their childhoods". My dear younger relatives are expecting, have already had at least covid boosters during the pregnancy, and will not allow visitors (at least in the first 2 or 3 months) who do not have a recent TDaP, and are current on covid and flu vax protocols. so i have no idea when they will deem it safe for me to see the baby. the worst part to me is that i cannot even warn them about the harms to a newborn; they totally believe the mainstream vaccine view - altho they are aware that i do not get vaxxed.
One of the best come-backs I've read on this substack platform was: "I have said I am not anti-vax but anti-stupid as I don't believe in poisoning myself as the way to good health."
Lovingly advocate for the baby in any way you can. Life will open opportunities for you to plant seeds. That's all we have to do, but , for the sake of our species, we have to do it.
true. unfortunately with these particular dear ones, i have to tread carefully so as not to further crystallize their views or lead to schism. we live in a very blue area; i am the only one on this side of my family that is not fully vaxxed. i can lead by example, but am seen as deviant and deluded on this subject - and of course i think they are deluded. they have been so thoroughly propagandized by the schools, TV, social media and the surrounding culture. i don't want them to have to find out the hard way.
