I am surprised to see CS Lewis state that evil is parasitic. Several times in the OT God states that he will visit "evil" upon people. I'm using the KJV, so perhaps there are translation difficulties moving into English from the source languages, but this has made me feel that the relationship between God, Good and Evil is hard for humans to fully understand. Isaiah 54:17, as a quickly found example (by chance), states "... and I have created the waster to destroy." This would seem to indicate that God created both Good and Evil.
But I am also thinking that Messr. Bosnard is onto something (777pilgrim on a wordpress site), when he says that the occult today loses its grip on morality because it insists that Good and Evil balance each other. So then, did God create both with an eye that the one would be refined by the other? Or do they exist on some continuum that we are supposed to move along?

Churches were/ are run by humans. Humans are sinners. As much as we look to these mentors for knowledge & guidance, we HAVE to acknowledge their weaknesses. Read it again. It changes your perspective, every time. At least for me it did. I’ve never found another book that answers questions better, and also keeps a difficult subject relatively simple. This book changed me at the core.

I saw at about 45, after the death my my parents, what a scam religion is. At 20, when USA drafted me into the army to kill for ???, it started to dawn on me.
