Wow. I didn't know a writing could satisfy me so much. My whole life though I've been a sociological thinker so this writing is my cup of tea. Thank you unbekoming and Luc Lelièvre. I feel this writing filled so many needs in me. One is a doable format/advice/guiding points to express authentically. And this writing mirrors some of my own long held beliefs that I should be careful to not put myself in a position to get in trouble for my authentic expression. AND, that owning and listening to our emotions is the missing component, that is so often villainized. I plan on rereading this and integrating it into my way forward which includes possibly expressions of writing or art that illustrate what you're saying here. I can't help to want to hang out with people who write things like this because I currently feel very isolated. Just me being authentic.

WOW! was the only thing that came to mind, but I second everything in your comment. Thank you, Lesa.

Hashtag me too. But feelings are not facts.

My way is constant prayer .when I wake in the middle of the night or morning ..I automatically pray. It’s kinda my background music as I work on line.

God bless you n yours.

An excellent article presenting the method and ways of eliminating contrary opinion, what has also been labeled Dynamic Silence.

One can see this in action today in the interactions of J. J. Couey, outspoken biologist, with those who are now at the top of virology discussions presented to us as a tar baby to absorb inconvenient contrary material and send it into a rabbit hole where it essentially dies to the publics eyes and ears to never see the light of day again. Hours and hours of documentation on his entertaining and informative streams at https://stream.gigaohm.bio/home independent peertube channel where one will recognize all the elevated big-name recognition people presented before the public. Go learn something! I support him so that you can.

Hi, is there a published paper, link? to the essay that this article is based off I can't seem to find anything? Thanks

Outstanding article and I am def going to read the book. This named and detailed for me so much that I have felt but not been able to articulate. This abuse is also experienced on so many of these 'customer service' calls one tries to make. Most recently whilst listening to endless 'information and policies' I had to endure more statements about how they do not accept bad behaviour and I thought, what a bizarre thing to say - why would people be abusive to a white goods company, but the telephone process is probably the reason, I got so annoyed I just hung up - which seems to be the result wanted.

What an essay. Thankyou Luc

There are several distinct phases that I recognise as how I’ve floated along the tributaries of the legal system in several countries, never quite reaching the point where any testimony I’ve supplied is lodged in the public record.

If anyone were to look back at the last few years, you’d not find one mention of my name, despite the hundreds of hours spent on it.

It’s a very clever thing.

I remember listening to Robin Monotti reading the introductory chapter to Giorgio Agamben’s “State of Exception” and the concept of the bare life, some years ago. I found it chilling.

Those of us who are pulled through this machine do not understand enough of it to navigate it.

This helps, but I’m as a child in junior school, with the final exams coming up shortly.

thanks for making all that effort behind the scenes. It is heroic.

I'm not even half way done reading, but this post is already the best post by far that I've read on substack since I created an account here almost four years ago.

Thank you, Unbecoming for posting, and Luc Lelievre for writing. Now I'm going to read the rest.

Thank you so much! Much appreciated.

" The system, like Eberlin, does not seek resolution. It seeks to maintain appearances by eliminating the parts of itself that threaten the whole."

Two perfect examples of this is Anthony Fauci's removal from the NIH not too long ago, and Klaus Schwab's removal from the WEF, also not to long ago.

The same can be said about RFKjr's predecessor. They "repaired" the DoHHS when they appointed him. "Yay, we finally won! NOT!"

Luc Lelievre's avatar

Yes, indeed! That does the trick...

Outstanding. Many thanks. Will recommend.

Absolutely brilliant. One of the best pieces I've seen ever. Spot on! Thankyou Unbecoming & Luc. BTW there is another very important aspect in all this which is the huge amounts & flows of monies Public institutions dispense and also, huge monies associated with institutional "approvals" & "subsidies" of all manner of "projects" eg The Wars/MIC, Big Pharma, Public infrastructure & transport ++ and all,...it is in the $Trillions. My view is always follow the "Power, Profit & Control" aspects & who benefits.

Luc Lelievre's avatar

Yes, and it’s deeply concerning as well.

Have you guys read the sustainability and social justice agendas ?? I hate to worry people, but as a child I concluded we were heading for a techno buddhist monastery/workhouse if we didnt invent something clever pretty sharpish. Western people had access to the global media and social media first and as such we were always due for a big 'budge over' moment. I've read all sorts of discussions about how the west has too much diversity, too much freedom.. how our looks (eye colour hair type etc) are too diverse and our surnames too diverse and how we will have to somehow make that more 'equal'. Years ago they said we would lose the rights to our surnames . How can you have thousands of surnames in the west when millions of people elsewhere all have the same name ? The battle to maintain freedom of thought, identity and expression looks to be the biggest challenge ever. This article is valuable for trying to work out how we at least get the most authentic and valuable voices to be heard.

It's possible we are heading for an entirely global inversion where the truth can never be spoken..

Frances Leader's avatar

So what is wrong with having a whole bunch of surnames? Don't people in the east hang onto their family names? I have never been outside Europe so I wouldn't know tbf.

Spanish people have wonderfully complex names. Babies get two or three first names, one of which is usually a saint's name. They also get their mother's surname and finally their father's. So everybody I knew when I lived there would remark that Frances Leader was a very short, masculine and downright ugly name! They renamed me Francesca de Avalon. My friend and neighbour was Fuego Antonio Garcia Hernandez. His closest friend was Fernando Miguel Artosa Perez. All my students in the evening classes I ran had at least four names each, and then they often had nicknames too! My friend Concepcion was known as Chus...? Weird! I found it was very hard to remember all these names! 😵

Yeowoman's avatar

btw did you see the film of chinese schools dividing the little children up into racial groups .. ? would you say that was western propaganda ? I know you are dubious about the social credit score ideas being accurate .

Frances Leader's avatar

It sounds very like typical western propaganda. I have two subscribers living in China and they refute all these scaremongering stories. Look for @James Filbird and @Jerrys take on China.

Yeowoman's avatar

Yours is a fine name !! Very assertive !! We could all move into cornish-welsh double barrelled names :) .. that would be fun. The thing is, with billions of people it does get complicated. I was a google-wack when I first joined the interweb. There was nobody else with my name anywhere. I still think I’m in a teeny cohort. Meanwhile there are millions of Asian Yeos. How do we prevent ourselves all being downgraded to machine code :( ..

Even christian names are considered colonial and often too christian/european for the rest of the world to be happy with. They are even wanting to translate all the biology names away from latin and english of course … so do we have thousands of names for every species ? or reduce it all to machine code ?? its terribly worrying :( to me at least.

Frances Leader's avatar

They will want us to have numbers next....

QR codes. I just noted it’s rich d hall’s court case today and it is only online/distance so no public attendance. It’s all becoming very virtual isnt it :(

How will anyone know what’s what.
