Years ago, when doing some genealogical research, I ran across a short article about how the day was structured in one room school houses that were prevalent in our small colonial communities, and kept in use in sparsely populated rural areas into the modern era. These mixed all ages in a single room, sometimes with small adjacent areas. They routinely worked in small groups or individually on reading or tasks specific to the age grouping, the older children would help the younger ones, thereby reinforcing an earlier lesson for themselves. It is not difficult to keep bookshelves with sufficient variety of materials when dealing with a smaller student body.

Instruction was limited to 45 minutes in one hour blocks, and except in inclement weather, the children were told to go out and play hard, and use the outhouses if needed on the breaks. In bad weather they would move desks and create group play space. They were never required to stay still at their desks beyond a 45 minute time, and moving physically in between instruction blocks burned off energy that all growing children have. There were numerous salutary effects to being in a mixed age atmosphere, not least of which is the one on one that older children could give young ones, relieving the teacher, and further developing social skills both on receiving and giving sides.

I grew up going to a 4 room school, each classroom had 3 grade levels. It was rural. Our school had an ice rink. We played outside even in cold winter. I grew up from age 7-16 without a tv. There was no such thing as ADD in our little school (granted, it was a religious school which meant that we were “naughty” and “bad” and were punished, mostly in non-corporal ways). I was constantly told in my teens & twenties that were were deprived. I feel nothing but gratitude for the amazing education we received.

Great article! About 20 years ago, a friend and I were talking about his Son's difficulties in school and how they went to counseling and the boy was prescribed Ritalin as a solution. I asked my friend if he had ever tried the drug that he expected his son to take to see what the effect was. He hadn't so both he and I tried it out. To me, it was like taking too many NoDoze tablets like I would take during college finals. I was clenching my teeth and feeling hyper and jittery. He didn't like it at all and consequently declined the treatment for his Son. He always thanked me for that many times throughout the years.

My 30 yr old son has/had what they call ADHD-I (inattentive type). He also had a seizure disorder and i'm sure the two were related. Over the years I have become more and more convinced that he was vax injured from a very early age. Life was incredibly challenging with my sweet, high IQ and strong willed boy. Out of desperation we tried the ADD meds once, for a week, but it changed him and we knew it was the wrong answer. I think the secret to his success was largely having a stay at home mom. I always believed in his abilities, didn't focus too much on grades but more on his skills, and did whatever it took to help him find his way. He's an incredible man now with great relationships, a zillion hobbies and interests and a fulfilling career. (also did a lot of neurofeedback therapy sessions as a young teen and he hasn't needed seizure meds for the past decade). So thankful to God every day for helping us through it all.

What is in incidence of ADD and ADHD in the Amish community? Is it just that people have bad food and a bad home/social environment? The current environment in most countries is so chaotic it will disrupt the attention of nearly everyone. I am lucky that I grew up many years before TV.

very limited TV time when I was a kid. also, married parents who stayed together, mother being a home maker, cooking dinner every day. Kids nowadays have no home (brought from one granny to the crib to another granny to an aunt and when home, taken to bed), seldom decent food (read how many times baby food is recalled, and try it yourself), and when growing up, are driven from school to activity A to activity B to MacDonalds and then to bed.

What a difference with our playing in the woods, picking cherries, apples... enjoying our youth. And how many of these artificial illnesses have been 'discovered'? enough to make the bigpharma very very rich!

Indeed. I grew up in the UK during 1940s WW2 and 1950s. I remember walking to school through deep channels in the snow of winter of 46-47. Played out in the muck, in the abandoned air raid shelters, did many dangerous experiments, chemical, gas & electrical. Felt much cared for by my parents. Learned a lot. The 1950s felt truly hopeful and life full of possibilities. Now we seem to be on a disaster track.

I was born in 1957 but still got a fine youth, playing in the yard and in the adjacent woods. No cell phones, we did not do the dangerous stuff you did but still! climbed trees, came home full of bloody scratches from brambles etc. and had great fun. I see the Mexican kids in our neighborhood playing football. The white kids ride four wheelers sometimes. Hardly seem them out otherwise.

Artificial , or invented illnesses /conditions are merely cover stories for the abject failures of modern medicine. The lengths these EVIL b*stards go to protect income has no boundaries!!

The medical agencies that were designed to protect us are completely useless, toothless, and mainly corrupt. The political and Judicial worlds are infested with puppets, who are TRAITORS to the people they should serve!! ALL THREE groups serve the same masters, have ZERO Morals, and as long as their financial well being is satisfied, the world can rot!!

My ex insisted and the pediatricians, were pushing my kids take Ritalin back in the 90s. I’m a physician and flat out refused because I saw it screwing my kids up. I of course, not a pediatrician. Therefore I was considered abusive to my children by the school and the physician that same geniousI’m sure pushed thousands of Covid shots on little babies suggested my wife see a lawyer. my sweet little boys have had learning disabilities Bowel problems and chronic anxiety. A major reason in my divorce. Fortunately my second family unvaccinated undruged genius level intelligence no problems. Go figure.

This is an extraordinarily well-presented look at current treatment.

I am a neurodevelopment therapist, and have found that all of these symptoms of AD/HD (and a remarkable array of other issues too) can be diminished/eliminated with strengthening of the most primitive parts of the brain and with primitive reflex integration. Exercises not need to be repeated for life -- just until the necessary connections are made. People generally love doing them.

"The drugs by every measurement that matters to the adults that administer them, work." The most important measurement that matters to the adults that administer them" is MONEY. This includes the medical profession, schools who receive money for every student diagnosed, Big Pharma, and PARENTS. Children with these diagnosis are considered DISABLED, and qualify for SSI benefits with the parent as payee. For example, a family of six with both parents and children with these diagnosis would receive at least $50,000 per year, plus SNAP benefits, plus Medicaid, plus HUD housing, and most importantly, not having to WORK.

You hit upon something most don't know. I was called into school when my son was 7 or 8. Wouldn't stop talking, disrupted the class, moving about when others were seated, class clown etc. This young teacher who thought she was smarter than me decided to diagnose my son and advised me to put him on drugs.

I asked her why she had no ability to control her students, when I had the ability to control my own children, and that SHE was the authority figure, supplanting me during the day, now that he was school age. Don't they teach that in the college you went to?

When she stumbled and couldn't answer the question, I knew I was dealing with a dimwit. I told her this conversation was over, got up and stormed out.

Later, I came to find out the amount of money the school earned recruiting gullible parents into sacrificing their children, using teachers as their official drug pushers.

Pediatricians are the 33rd degree masonic embodiment of pure evil against children and need to be removed from planet earth. THEY are the scourge.

All of this poisoning that creates the very same symptoms and horrors of what Keith Cutter on Substack just spoke about. We've got a much bigger problem and it relates to everything you say here. The implications and evidence devastating, far more devastating than people understand. Guess what you'll have to sacrifice to protect yourself and your loved ones? The very thing they made sure you couldn't even conceive of sacrificing. They had to program us first for decades so that we would never fight back, and program they did.

Now for situations like these children are naive and dependent targets- they are demonized and infantilized and lied to and it’s seen as acceptable. Instead they will claim it is the behavior of the younger person and get them medicated or incarcerated based on their reactions to the abuse.

The entire system of this system is built on child sex abuse.

Please save this pdf specifically;

Now here is further proof; victims of incest or domestic violence are put into special rehabilitation therapies along with their abuser- their abusers- to keep the “families best interest at heart” and do the best “for everyone”. Yes convicted crimes of sexuality and violence are forgiven.

Children can be arrested and put into facilities based on suicidal thoughts or “threatening” behavior towards their abusers. They are told to be cooperative and accepting during therapy.

Finally, symptoms of mental illness in children are based on emotional reactions and not factual evidence such as dangerous behavior or a crime. Which is exactly how someone who commuted domestic violence or abusive hypersexuality in the presence of or towards the child and their other victims are given programs to be helped. And forcibly set the victims to repair their relationships with an offender- without the offenders being sent to prison as “they’ve gone for help” and done things the proper way. Now they receive impunity instead of punishment.

Meanwhile a child with “behavioral issues” or a young adult with a traumatic past will automatically be drugged based on questionairres of how sad, angry, or paranoid they feel. It’s based on emotions.

They are grooming children. To be accepting of these situations and people who are looking to take advantage of their time, minds, and bodies.

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/329194918_Overmedicating_vulnerable_children_in_the_US

Despite their pasts warranting these reactional responses they will be scapegoated as mentally ill- while the abusers, facilitators and enablers of said wife-beater or child-rapist are satisfied and now have an outlet to control the child with medication.

This is especially true for victims of domestic abuse and children in foster care are specifically evaluated

children aren’t dangerous and do not need to be used but protected and taught how to deal with hardship

Your hypothesis would be best supported by an evidence-data based refutation of the author's material. Ad hominem attacks such as yours, are usually proof of a lack of evidence in support of one's argument.
