The simple, common-sense approach by Tom Cowan is impressive in the context of the modern excessively complicated medicine. If our health and the body were dependent on different explanations (like, allopatic) - how would it be possible for the human being to survive thousands of years before 1900, when nothing like "the doctor" existed in Nature?
Until I hear a cogent explanation for how chicken pox occurs within families you can't convince me there is no such thing as contagion. It may be that colds aren't contagious, it Mat be that our whole theory of viruses is incorrect. But I still haven't heard anyone give me an explanation for how each of my children from 2 years to 9, one by one came down consecutively with chicken pox. Also, the eldest had a long exposure to it at 1 years old whilst still being breastfed but never got it (consistent with immunity via breast milk antibodies). But at 9 years he caught it (after his 3 siblings). But none of the adults around the children ( grandparents included) caught chicken pox, consistent with the concept of immunity gained from previous childhood illness. I have other family experiences related to norovirus and covid that convince me that there are diseases that are contagious.
