Some time ago I read adult diapers outsold infant diapers in Japan & probably that trajectory will apply around the world soon. May need to develop a technique for the adult diaper folks?

I used this book and method with my daughter back in 1979. Worked perfectly. She never had a mishap with the bathroom. She was 18 months.

I'm going to have a hard time with question 8. i struggle with the "NO!" -- but that may be due to how society wants us to raise children now (I discipline but encourage mistakes) -- so this sounds like a stern reaction for a mistake. However, this could be due to my biases so open to be proven wrong. I can see the positive in this because mistakes are met w/ consequences in the real world, but again, totally can understand the perspective.

Nonetheless, amazing work! Going to look to implement this right away! Thanks for this excellent breakdown and a return to a natural way of life overall.

Nice write up for an old method that really works! It sounds more intense than it really was. I actually enjoyed the process every time I used it over the years...and each child seemed to have fun training their dolly. It's a huge win in the end, no more diapers, no more accidents, and no more diapers to change.

Here's hoping you have revived this little book and its authors get some new thankful responses from grateful parents everywhere.

Thanks for diving into it so quickly. Never expected that from my initial response to your article on the disposable diaper industry.

There ought to be resistance from family doctors and nurses. Sadly, what we call the medical profession has become a counter-jumper in sales.
