I can absolutely relate to this article, almost verbatim. In my own sphere, chemtrails not withstanding, I know of no one that opens windows. I have never had air conditioning, except window units in a bedroom, much less central air conditioning, which I have now. And I hate it.
The idea of cooling an entire house when you only use 2 rooms during the day makes no sense to me. Neither does a dish washer. That screams laziness to the max along with a tremendous waste of resources and money doled out for that convenience aka laziness.
I suspect no one has noticed or even pays attention to the horrible, unnatural, fake weather we have had, here in Pa, where rain has deluged us and we've had 3, now today 4, sunny days in June. You wanna tell me that's normal? Mold is everywhere outside, patio disgusting, weeds a foot high overnight, my Spring flowers, herbs, veggies, drowned out or wind blown.
This weather manipulation is visible for all to see, yet none see. The temp drops to 55, you turn the heat on, by midday it's 80, you turn the air on, at night it drops again and you forget to turn the air off and by morning you're freezing and turn the heat on again. Repeat, day after day. That seems to be the general rule. Imagine all the dead, contaminated air you're breathing.
The first thing I go for is a window. It's stifling, I close them. In Winter, in kitchen and bath, I open them. Spring and Fall, the air is delightful, I open them. My curtains blow in the wind and it draws the outside in and I love it. I have zero mold inside my home. Plus, my energy bills are below 100 bucks each month, no matter the season, because I'm resourceful and not lazy.
We have spent billions removing mold. It's one of the first things plumbers look for, since even a tiny drip can cause mold. The Call the Midwife series features many stories about the damp, mold-ridden housing that lower-class Brits lived in. From just lung issues to death, children are vulnerable to it.
Chlorine Dioxide cleans the outside and the inside. Mold is no match as Chlorine Dioxide is a gas and permeates every single nook and cranny of the space that it is in.
So, if bleach is not good enough for getting rid of mold, what should we use? I'd appreciate some helpful advice instead of just warnings with no solution offered.
Our house is fine; no mold problem at all, but I had a rental once where we had to deal with it, and we have 4 kids with houses of their own, so I like to stay up on this. Thanks again for the info.
I also had a rental where we had to pay $15,000 for lead paint remediation. Federal law did not allow me to do it myself - need authorized, approved, specialized contractors - expensive. I could have done what they did, for about $100 for new paint and about 16 hours of my labor - scraping all old paint off door and window frames and repainting. The rest of the house was considered safe because the old paint had already been well covered and sealed with newer latex paint.
Wow thank you for insight on that. That's crazy with the costs and now that makes me wonder if some landlords don't follow through merely because of the cost.
I hope you don't have to deal with mold again in the future! Make sure there's no water infiltration and if there is clean it up quickly and you should be ok! Be well!
Another reader's comment below says this: "No mold on earth tolerates mechanical scrubbing. 95% mold succumbs to white vinegar and water, 50-50. No mold remediation should ignore furnace and ventilation. Buy your own commercial dehumidifiers and air purifiers (usually amazon has for much less)."
I also want to point out that some people, such as myself, are allergic to mold. It sounds like you have good genes. Also I am mostly vegan so I don't eat any bacon cheeseburgers! I try to eat mostly organic and food that is not contaminated with mycotoxins. And I'm with you on the Big Pharma stance - I haven't had any shots since turning 17 except vodka :) You'd probably like the new shirt I made https://outlawedbyjp.net/listing/repeal-the-1986-act?product=2&variation=2122
Should you trust an inspector who doesn’t know how to remediate what he reads back from a lab (usually tape lift?) Mold Inspection should be Female Sniff Certified! Mold Inspection Minimal charge, mainly Trip Charge and that to verify sight or smell detection.
If she detects it, no equipment can deny it, period. Be aware of that “spore” unseen and often hidden in plain sight, mainly walls. If smell or odor, yet not visible, open a potential portion look for back of drywall or suspected area.
Don’t Be Conned By “Experts” often more of a Demolition Expert than a true Neutralizer!
If you to rebuild hire a well known trusted builder.
Laser Particle detection can be inexpensive and performed by owner or buyer. Plug in and get immediate accurate results.
The health attacking molds (Aspergillus, Alternaria, Penicillium) seem rarely given the attention that the Stachybotrys sp. scare tactic gets.

I am a terrain paradigm person. I don’t believe in fake viruses. And I don’t believe in the pathogenicity of bacteria. But I find it very annoying theta the terrain people seem to think mold isn’t harming or toxic to the human body because #natural.
The natural world is a glorious wonder of beauty and terror. Many poisonous insect, plants and mushroom abound. I do not understand this disconnect.
State of the art mold remediation technology. https://www.pulsedtech.com/
Hi Tim, would you happen to have a single pdf copy of The Electric Human (that's promoted in their site)

I believe I do. I'll dig and email it to you.

I'm sorry for not being helpful enough. I really recommend Daniel Stih's book "Mold Money" if you're looking to get rid of mold yourself.
OK - I'll get the book.
He also has a website - https://danielstih.com/healthy-living-spaces - and podcast to contact him there. Greg Weatherman’s site is survivingremediation.com. And John Banta’s site is https://www.johncbanta.com/.
Wishing you and everyone else a healthy home, body, and spirit!

Vinegar, I think. I need to further research.
Thanks, Katherine. If you find out more in your research, let me know by messaging.
You are welcome, Al.

"...I believe toxicants are the cause of all disease or at least largely a contributing cause. ". Agreed
Wow this is PATHETIC.
I have been doing HVAC for 40+ years and have ingested more mold, dirt, and contamination than anyone.
In the older homes or damage restoration projects I injested enough to be be like chopping up a few lines of mold and snorting it.
The brain dead masses worry about mold and then go injest buckets of big pharma drugs and injections followed by a big fat greasy bacon cheeseburger.
Modern western humans are pitiful, helpless creatures.

I love your response :)
I'm glad you seem like you are in good health but some people develop severe health problems from mold. Women are more at risk than men.
Thank you for the interview and stay awesome!
