I’m in Orange County with a backyard full of citrus.
The first round assault on our trees was maybe around 2016 and they sprayed some of my trees with pyrethrum (chrysanthemum extract) but I forbid the use of the ground spray systemic.
When the agricultural extension called to follow up with the fake pcr test, free tree removal offer it was after the fake pandemic and fortunately I knew better by then and ignored the numerous phone messages.
The psyllid damage tends to be on young foliage but the trees are doing great (especially after deep soaking rains this winter) my 60 year+ Valencia orange had the juiciest crop ever last year and the biggest problem is raccoons feasting on it.
For the first time in years they are selling citrus again at Home Depot and Armstrong nurseries but believe it or not they are required to keep the plants indoors (even though the doors are open😹) so I’m going to try a Cara Cara navel orange.
very very tragic about the livelihoods, the nurseries that were destroyed.
Would it not be nice, if these 'scientists' read what is on the box of a pcr-test? this test can not be used to diagnose an illness'. It is only to be used to multiply fragments in a lab situation.
Read? With all their book learning, they have forgotten how to read, how to pattern match and how to critically think. Siloing does this to people. It is interesting that the most siloed people on the planet are telling others to be more open minded.
It seems actual science is counterproductive to corporate profit margins. Fauccpi's[sic] -if you know you know, if not you figure it out or dismiss it, as you will-- asinine statement 'the science is settled' demonstrates that Muppet, never knew what actual sciences is/was.
I can also see a pattern, here like the Political Flu scam from recent years. Except this one targets our private food supply...
It is all smells like, Corporatocracy strangle hold, and depopulation agenda to me.
Yes I was thinking of that, too. All these ostriches killed for nothing. And millions of chickens a few years earlier! (I just hit the button when your response showed up - great minds haha)
What do scientists and bureaucrats have in common? The ability to imagine make work using other people's money to justify their existence. Facts don't matter. Bureaucrats depend upon the scientists' ability to create fake science to keep their job; the scientists depend upon the gravy train of other people's money to imagine a problem that doesn't exist so the bureaucracy can justify its existence to keep the gravy train coming...
See how it all now makes sense? We are their guinea pigs, and as long as we say 'yes' they don't need to spend money on real science. The made up science presented to overly educated, common sense lacking bureaucrats is good enough to convince us guinea pigs to go along with their scam. And how do they convince us to make a decision that goes against our well being? Made up credentials by bloated, taxpayer funded 'private' institutions who credentials are pumped up by paid off media. See how it works? Once the guinea pigs understand this cycle of fakery and fraudulent science, the guinea pigs can just walk away.
The state may have the police, but we still have our guns...and there are more of us than them. Even Europeans are rising up and the governments are backing down: and they aren't even armed. Think of what an armed population that says "NO" to bureaucrats and their stooges, armed or not can do.
I lived in a rural area during the scamdemic. There are certain places where the government bureaucrats didn't visit because they didn't want to look down the barrel of a shotgun. Eventually the mayor said publicly he wasn't going to enforce it. The county tried, but he didn't budge. Even the Board of Supervisors, which included a very blue population center backed down. This is what happens when the government fears the people: they back down and start leaving people alone.
Are the Eugenics mob behind this? Or chemical companies, both or more? Is it about destroying smaller businessess so big ag can take over? It all does not make sense, I worry about when they start going after backyard gardens.
"... I worry about when they start going after backyard gardens."
This has already been long pre-planned and prepared, and is underway. You might recall that the big box stores that were allowed to do business while mom and pops' were shut down during the plandemic were prevented from selling gardening supplies. In the UK every single bird owned is required to be registered, and backyard flocks are continually threatened with eradication.
Plan accordingly. Read about aquaponics, and do what is necessary to secure you and yours from the coming neo-Holodomor.
Enriching the soil is what animals do for plants. I only recommend you adopt whole ecosystem mechanisms to reduce your labor and increase your benefit from the labor you do. While the first oppressions imposed by tyrants have been focused on animal husbandry, it is obvious they will not be the last, as revealed in the ban on sales of garden seed and supplies imposed during the plandemic.
Do what you will that will do you good. You are in charge of you.
They do the same thing with chickens. Destroy an entire flock, millions of birds, because a few supposedly tested positive for the bird flu. Rather than, you know, quarantine the supposedly infected ones.
Same old same old. Ham handed authorities ,so called experts, dictating "solutions" under penalty of imprisonment for a boogieman they can't see but tell you exists . Sound familiar? Chickens, Ostrich's ,cattle, carbon, Covid etc .etc. At some point the stupidity excuse has to be questioned and the real agenda discussed.
So the masters are using “science” and a “test” and argument from authority to perform actions. Which is a clear pattern in use for some time. Their current methods are becoming more and more transparent. But let’s ask why? To control independent farmers? To gain greater control over food production? Make examples of a few to keep the rest in line. Is the ultimate goal to poison the oranges?
Eventually all natural food sources from crops, trees and animals will be declared 'problematic' or 'dangerous' or 'untrustworthy' or 'disease causing' and hence illegal.
We will be saved from all these horrible threats by switching to foods deemed safe by the technocrats - bugs.
The paragraph beginning "Scurvy killed..." contains this:
"Hugo Bonger, operating a prisoner-of-war camp on Shark Island during the Herero and Namaqua genocide, was so certain scurvy was caused by pathogens bred in the camp’s unhygienic conditions that he injected prisoners with arsenic and opium to kill the imagined germ. Everyone he injected remained free of scurvy.²⁰ The cause was vitamin C deficiency."
This doesn't mention he gave prisoners citrus along with injections of arsenic and opium. It says the prisoners injected with arsenic and opium remained free of scurvy.
Have I missed something - it seems Hugo Bonger would be thinking his injections worked to prevent scurvy. ???
Great writeup. I feel as though there is something about how we teach human and scientific history, where usually one side of a narrative is given (the alleged winner) and the discoveries or conclusions are presented without contention, that makes it so people do not question what during their own lifetimes are the areas of knowledge or interpretation that should be under dispute. You do a great job highlighting this with the story of misdiagnosed nutritional deficiencies, rather than probably if you open up a nutrition textbook today, pellagra or beri beri will be described briefly and pertinently to what it is and not to the history of how long it took to get those right.
"However... it is assumed that they are the causal agents of the diseases with which they are associated.” Damn, scientismists, haven't you listened to yourself? Ignorance is not the big problem here, it is ignorance of ignorance.
Our wonderful researchers, who question conventional paradigms, claims, and conclusions, have been recognizing that "The Science" folks are eschewing the critically important and necessary SCIENTIFIC METHOD (!) Instead, the germ theory CULTure encourages employing assumptions and hypotheses as the axiomatic basis for their falsified "studies."
See, the white coats went to school got duped and initiated, and they remain so for the sake of keeping their careers, which end up being the duping of their brothers and sisters.
Thanks for another excellent article refuting the mythical BS.

Well, at least the lemons did not have corona...

I wonder...why do weeds never seem to get diseased? I don't think I have ever seen a sick weed.
Unless sprayed with a toxic substance. But yes never seen a sick weed. Unless poisoned.
Well...We all know how grossly unreliable PCR tests are..!
And it puts the massacre of the Canadian ostriches into perspective..!
and the 'scientists' that use them
Hi, Ingrid...I added my view of the Canadian ostrich massacre...
Yes I was thinking of that, too. All these ostriches killed for nothing. And millions of chickens a few years earlier! (I just hit the button when your response showed up - great minds haha)
Ta..!

You really can't make this stuff up. Surprising they didn't put the "positive" PCR tested trees on a "ventilator." : /

I don't keep animals but grow veggies, and I am saving seeds and making compost to enrich the soil.
Enriching the soil is what animals do for plants. I only recommend you adopt whole ecosystem mechanisms to reduce your labor and increase your benefit from the labor you do. And allow chicken that have developed immunity to live and reproduce.
It has nothing to do with the health of the chickens - or us.
It is a lie to control the food supply and make us more dependent on the criminal bureaucrats.

Human digestion is an important vector of attack.
Food, pills, water.

Great essay.

I was also left in the dark as to how this was evidence of anything.

I question the titling, on 2 counts.
Firstly, 'What *Destroyed* Citrus Trees Reveal About How We…' would have aligned closer to the related information ..(as I read it).
Secondly, might have more aptly been, 'the way *they* think... '
"They", the immoral and corrupt still running the show, or at least (in the US) the deep state.
You know, it's a 'coloring (we) with the same brush' thing.
Regardless, commend the work, liked and shared.
