The author seems to believe that "the elites" are those frontmen who we are presented with as the "leaders" of the above mentioned "systems". Hitler, Napoleon, Robespierre, etc.

And that their removal/downfall is representative of the system collapsing or being fundamentally altered.

Clearly the collapse of the systems that those men represented, did not result in less centralization...just look around us, the world has never been more centralized/controlled.

I would suggest the possibility that the rise and fall of systems/empires/governments is a planned necessity that the "elites" understand and account for, and (most likely) control.

The Wars, Revolutions and "public resistance" that we are told occur, are coordinated events and/or simple narratives that we are told, that turn into our (hi)stories.

the difficult truth is, that even if it were possible for an outraged mass of people to somehow all agree to coordinate and overthrow a government (I'm doubtful this is even possible outside of small communities), that another centralized system will inevitably replace it.

People want to be led, this is obvious. And there will always be a small group of people who are willing and able to do the leading.

It is a safe assumption that the powerful and rich groups have been in control all along, building and tearing down "empires" as needed. All the while, from the perception of "the masses", great change is occurring, and the people have the power to resist.

Yessiree-bob. I posit that Kings, Queens, Czars, Mao, Hilter, Napoleon and all the Prime Ministers and Presidents have been front men/women for those with finance power and the consistent agenda of control. Methods and focus may (and does) change, but never in reality does the hand change which moves the chess pieces. For instance, the French Revolution gave birth to "Napoleon". Nonetheless, the Hand may be killed...if the people will it to be deprived of sustenance. That's the big issue.

" I posit that Kings, Queens, Czars, Mao, Hilter, Napoleon and all the Prime Ministers and Presidents have been front men/women for those with finance power and the consistent agenda of control." Excellent comment. It's the "finance power" that needs going after like the Occupy Wall Street movement, which of course was ahead of its time and did not suffer a defeat, but a stall. Much is happening in the world and esp. in Africa where "finance power" is losing control of the resources they depend on.

So where does that leave us, the ones who see through the lies? How do we survive and maintain hope for the future? Just asking as I'm curious and this is a question I struggle to answer. The only answer I have is getting outside in the sunshine and then I think, oh, they can even take that away! We have had beautiful weather these school holidays though, minimal sky pollution and cloud cover but I remember the last few years and once sunny Qld has been cloudy, insular and eerie.

I think there isn't one answer to your question. that is, the answer is unique to everyone.

Personally, I try to focus my attention and energy on the those in my life I care about, and the things in my life I can control.

There are many things in this world that I cannot control, and people who are beyond my reach.

At the end of my life, whenever that is, I will look back on the things I am grateful for.

So, right now, every day, I want to give as much of my energy and focus to those things I am grateful for...not only to fully appreciate them now, but to not regret those wasted opportunities at the end of my life.

Caring about the world and injustices that occur is natural and noble. But for me, I feel there is a danger in becoming consumed by them, and letting them distract me from the "good" I *can* do, "locally".

But, again, this is just for myself. Some people might make other choices, and focus on other things.

I'd suggest imagining yourself on your deathbed, looking back on your life, and thinking about the things (thoughts, actions, where your energy was given) you would be content with, and what might cause you regrets.

The I'd suggest trying to live now, focusing on the things that will make you the most content, when that time finally arrives.

Paula's avatar

Doing good locally is the beginning of the revolution. See my comment above. Doing bad locally is how this did not begin, but solidified and it took years.

It leaves us at juncture of whether we can and are willing to lay our lives on the line for a future we want, or accept the one being thrust upon us. There is no doubt that it will be violent when economic controlling power meets people who refuse to give their taxes to the powers that control them. It suggests that we quit giving our taxes to these entities that go against our public will. However we will need other means besides our governments and those institutes that support them to aid us in survival against the violence they are already unleashing upon us. Our other means is community. Partner with local farmers and other farmers who are suffering hugely from the current admin's tariffs. As a community, offer them a way to survive by supporting them. Take advantage of the opportunities to connect with those who are suffering. We must have the will and dedication to understand what is happening. That seems lacking, but awareness is growing and this site seems dedicated to awareness. How this takeover of our country was built took time, according to my readings of various books, and began at the lowest levels, like municiple city council takeovers, county commissioners, local politicians funded to take over. They inserted themselves from the bottom up and we need to reassert ourselves in the same ways. Read Dark Money by Jane Mayer and Democracy In Chains by Nancy MacLean.

Paula's avatar

I disagree. If people were educated to the truth and not dumbed down as they are in the USA, they would not be wanted to be led, but rather use their own brain to think about who and what and where they are being led. To me, MAGA is an example of people looking for a savior when, rather they need to look into their own hearts and be taught, as Ibrahim Traore' is teaching his people that they have agency and a brain and do not need to be slaves to anyone anymore.

Brandon S.'s avatar

Fair enough.

Clearly I can't know what others think or feel. The best I can do is observe and assess how people behave and have behaved throughout what we are told is our history.

My views are based upon those observations, not on hypothetical situations.

I've learned not to project my own ideals/morals/perspectives onto others. (or, to try, at least. It's not easy)

Education is important, certainly...but what is being "educated" but looking to others for wisdom?

Paula's avatar

One must question who the "others" are and their personal agenda. Education can and is controlled and it is because we do have people who report and document the truth that we sometimes find those who do. I can tell you my agenda is knowing the truth. And it seems to come out only after the wars have been fought and coups successful years later. You have to be curious on your own and seek truth for yourself. I am not going to feed anyone my educated views without asking them to look it up for themselves.

Brandon S.'s avatar

yes, and if the country was filled with people like you, who value truth and not being a slave, and are curious and want to educate themselves, then prospects would be different, of course.

We all just went through a situation ("Covid") where we learned just what the majority of people stand for.

The unfortunate situation is, that it is not simply the "elites" or our government that don't respect our "truth"...it is the majority of our fellow citizens.

Paula's avatar

True, the majority are in denial and may seem to want to believe the fairy tale rather than the reality. I don't know how much you know about our history, but us EU immigrants did mostly the same thing as Israel to the Native Americans. Does anyone admit or talk about that? Do they deserve reparations? Indeed, will such a thing ever happen because we don't want to hand wash our dishes, we don't want to hang our clothes on a line, we want our new cars and the latest tech. We've been trained to be consumers. I was not trained that way and it makes me see things differently. No hairstyling, no pedi or mano cures, no makeup and even no bras. Those damn things are awful, esp. the underwires which one dr. says contributes to breast cancer. Not sure about that but know my body reacts to impure metals. Pretty sure those underwires are not gold or silver made. :)

BTW. Thanks for the engagement (dialog).

Analyses like this one share one major gap: they do not account for the learning steps of the “elites”. In other words, they are like snapshots of certain systems at certain times. It’s a great literary material, but it lacks the transition phases which, in my view, are far more important.

The power groups (aka elites) come to the possession of a particular position in the society, including finances, media and law, and they want to keep this established system as it is. They are aware that less priviliged members of the society will attempt at dethroning them or joining their club. That’s why there are so many thinktanks, continuously reviewing what is happening and what to do in advance to prevent future failures.

The history offers a lot of interesting developments that are used for these purposes. False flags are probably the most popular measure, easy to implement, practically untraceable and with high success rate. Trojan horses come next, along with useful idiots, pretend friends (or foes), planned distraction, lone operators, “terrorists”, “organised crime” and more. All these measures can be launched in sync, even countering each other, thus creating an image of chaos. As all of them are false by design, their analyses will only make the final image less obvious. And the public will believe whatever they read.

Big plans (agendas) are even better. The public will fear them most, rush to supermarkets to buy out stocks, thus depriving themselves of cash and making themselves more dependent on the existing system. A few days later the pressure will be released, only to be reapplied a month or two later, under different headings, but with the same goal of draining out cash, energy, time, and peace of mind.

Kirsten's avatar

Good comment. I would add two more things as well. 1) new silent weaponry like directed energy weapons, weather manipulation and the physical effects of man-made electromagnetic energy can be utilized to hamper resistance and achieve goals. 2) the effect of now widespread man-made electromagnetic energy on people's thinking processes and emotions is a big unknown. Brain waves are being connected to thoughts (as we see in devices like alter ego and AI being able to reconstruct paragraphs and pictures via a person's brain waves). Add the study of nanotechnology to create cyber-biological interfaces and we have a possible level of conscious and subconscious manipulation of people never before seen. This would bypass people's conscious ability to disagree with and resist "elites" plans.

The Infant Phenomenon's avatar

What people need to understand is what my father told me 60-odd years ago when I asked him something about the Soviets: "Their power is not unlimited."

Directed-energy weapons and the like are major weapons in the hands of evil people, but "their" power IS limited. Especially manpower.

Moreover, people should keep in mind that ALL of "their" plans rely 100% on two things: (1) a universal supply of electricity and (2) an UNFAILING supply of electricity. And "they" do not have either of those things, and they are not going to get them.

"They" are not gods. Their power IS limited, and it can be and WILL be SUCCESSFULLY resisted.

DanB1973's avatar

These sound high-tech and effective. And a lot of money involved. The rulers have simpler methods at hand. Rationing clean water would be the top choice - easy, cheap, effective, and not causing any resistance. Destruction of the labour market is another way, already well advanced. A huge potential for resistance, though.

The cold war (and all 20th century wars) have shown us that it is very easy to program people to a certain direction, especially young, aimless, jobless ones. They will be loyal to this programming until their lat breath, despite all obvious changes around. With modern media repeating reinforcement messages day in day out, people will do what ever they are told. We live in a sea of fake thoughts being introduced into the “atmosphere”, and we breathe these thoughts 24/7. Very few of us decide to use the breain instead.

With the coming “no jobs today, come back tomorrow” program (yes, in capitalism), the anxiety will grow and people will become even more easily manipulated.

Kirsten's avatar

All of those things you point to - clean water, jobs, propaganda - fall under what has already not worked; power has not been sustained using only those methods. (As was pointed out in this post).

If you look at the billions that have been dedicated to the development of nanotechnology, the university programs dedicated to learning about the topic, the number of corporations involved, and the abundance of publication about the progress in the scientific literature over the past three decades, you will understand that yes, the money and effort into high tech development has already occurred. Additionally, Dr Robert Duncan and Dr Nick Bigesh started talking about the manipulative effects of electromagnetic frequencies at least 20 years ago, if not more. It's already all been developed, the money has already been spent. The only questions are 1) is it being utilized, and to what extent. 2) has nanotechnology reached a level of development to be able to integrate with the human physiological system to the point of significant influence and even control.

DanB1973's avatar

What I mean is that the simplest measures work best in any situation. Leaders (or those who have real power, like politicians) are not stupid enough to dilute their ruling capcity on to hundreds of „scientists” from different fields. Therefore, I do not believe into all those fear-spreading “tech” inventions.

We (including journalists and substack writers) love being scared and spread scare among others. We enjoy (hm) writing about nano-whatever as much as we enjoyed science fiction writings that became so popular after the WW2. We simply became addicted to continuous fear, and sudden “end of war” was unbearable. And we continue this trend even now. Leader draw full benefits from out addiction - setting up fake labs (cheap) and printing fake scientific papers (cheap) is sufficient to sustain this fear among us. See how it is done technically in the movie „Ender’s Game” (2013 - 12 years ago...).

Kirsten's avatar

The simplest measures don't sustain power. The powerful don't "outsource" to scientists, universities etc, they use them. It's not about being fearful it's about recognizing possibilities and not hiding our heads in the sand about them.

"A crowd may first cheer a leader, lifting him to power with enthusiasm, yet the same crowd can turn on him with fury once it feels deceived or betrayed. Affection can quickly harden into hatred, and the idol of yesterday becomes the outcast of tomorrow."

This can be seen currently in the figure of Donald Trump--an enormous crowd cheering him on with vigor and enthusiasm, regardless of what he says or does, but the seeds of his own destruction are sown in everything that he says and does. As time goes on, more and more people realize that they have sought a savior who has their best interests at heart, but only gained a charlatan who does not give a damn about them. Once the blinders come off, they will not be put back on.

There is a saying that hell has no fury like a woman scorned, but the anger of those who were once deceived and now know the truth may rival that.

We've been in a 1984 type system since Orwell wrote his book. The system relies on keeping people compliant with war (fake wars between Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia) to excuse why people are poor.

This is not optimal to create unity of a one world government that pretends to care about the people.

If they wanted to succeed, they would have made people happy with giving them basic needs like food, housing, and entertainment just like in Brave New World.

But the predator class morons in power keep on pushing this bullshit expecting people to sacrifice for the greater good just like in 1984.

The scam is over and COVID was their last attempt to lock people in to a fear based control of "viruses". If they actually had the ability to create a deadly virus or bioweapon, we would have had a situation similar to V For Vendetta which is an Orwellian system that no longer fights between nations but fights an outsider- the deadly pathogen.

Excellent and comprehensive analyses by Luc; but we are in a spiritual war between good and evil as it always was from the time of the Garden where humanity failed the test of obedience and thankfulness for the Creator's gift of life; we chose human hubris over God's blessing, the "human defect" that perpetuates our "collective stupidity" as Bonhoeffer warned us about and which persists throughout history; cultural and national sovereignties and democracies will never save us from any tyranny or globalist take-over because human nature seeks the easiest and most cowardly and comfortable fixes while ignoring the dictates of the individual soul which demands accountability before God; "the inner liberation of man begins by living responsibly before God. Only then may stupidity be overcome." (Bonhoeffer) " I now ask you to choose between God's blessing and God's curse, between life and death ,and I call heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Choose life." (Deuteronomy 30: 19)

Thanks for this Luc. I love learning these patterns without having to be a scholar of the subject. I feel respected by you that I can get this. And what thoughtful comments that further my learning. Like about the 'controlling few', because there are much fewer of them than the not them...always learning and redirecting...so true.

And that comment about the controlling few...I like to call them the entities in the coward club...not understanding that "culture is rooted in language, memory, geography and struggle..." I see us challenged on all of those, language is being manipulated, memory is definitely being obliterated through poisons and mind manipulation, geography seems to be pushed toward our cell phones and struggle is being used to promise us comfort.

And then the "when policy collides with identity, resistance is not a glitch, it is a guarantee"...I think identity is being manipulated through mind manipulation too. And I personally think "identity" is its own deep dive. And really important.

But I never tire of the hope you point out (and I do think pointing out where we do have power and beauty and act from love is the most important thing anyone can do) citizen journalism. When I heard that idea I felt so empowered in myself.

And then the idea about "but without realism, humility and respect for human complexity..." I'm so glad to hear you reiterate these fine qualities of being a human but I fear we're dealing with at a higher level than the so called leaders we see, entities who do not care a wit about humans. And probably even despise us for our ability to love and create. I think that's why they control the awful media so we can watch and create the horrible world they want which is for us to be their creative slaves...but not be sovereign and have our own life.

And the problem with people refusing to continue believing the lies...they don't even realize they're lies. Because of mind control through hypnosis and poisons. This is why I employ Jason Christoff's empowerment tasks because his focus is to get off the poisons and see the hypnosis techniques that we're all exposed to.

Thank you so much for your comment. I'm also a big fan of Mr. Christoff.
