The only thing missing from the list, that I can think of, is sunshine. Prior to the Rockefeller’s creation of the industrial medical complex in the early 1900’s, natural medicine was the norm. When people were hospitalized, they would be submitted to sunshine daily. Sunlight has powerful healing properties. Why do you think we have been told that sunshine is harmful to our health?

David Kukkee's avatar

Hi Deb.Butler, thank you for asking that question, giving me the opportunity to say the words required for the truth to be manifest to all. The answer to your question is the reason I came over to this 'stack'... after reading UNBEKOMING's article on "Vitamin D". Sunshine cannot be patented either, but commercial Vitamin D, actually synthetic rat poison, cholecalciferol, a steroid hormone, has been "determined to be lacking" in nearly every person on Earth. Great market... plus testing fees, with a bonus... it leaches out the essential magnesium necessary for so many other functions, creating even more need for "interventions". Foisted on us as a replacement for sunshine... the "dangerous light that demands synthetic "sun screens"... I'm sure anyone can see the $$$ signs in that fraud also. I AM GRATEFUL FOR BEING SENT TO THIS STACK. THANK YOU. All the best, Deb.Butler.

Oscar's avatar

Synthetic Vitamin D is neither a vitamin or poisonous to humans, except in massive doses, in much the same way as drinking 20lt of water in one go will likely kill you. Oh a d warfarin, which is used as a clinical blood thinner but is also a killer of rats. Do rats die in direct sunlight, the natural giver of vitamin D, NO! Stop with the inane bigpharma propaganda.

Look at https://substack.com/@clivedecarle for more on this and many of the remedies mentioned in this document.

Stuart Hutt's avatar

D3 is not synthetic and can't be a vitamin since our bodies make it. Our bodies make cholecalciferol after the UVB hits our skin and makes 7dehydrocholesterol. Scientists have known since the 70's as 25hydroxy goes up cancers go down. They didn't know why until the 90's when they discovered D3 is a hormone required by every cell that is tissue based including the brain. Now doctors are using high dose D3 to reverse various autoimmune diseases (Dr Coimbra/cure4pain YT). Yes it is used as rat poison at an equivalent dose per kg of 4,000,000iu for a human. I doubt if 4,000,000iu would kill someone since in the 1920's people were taking 25mg per day D3 or 1,000,000iu. Get your 25hydroxy checked. I keep mine above 100ng/ml.

Yolanda Pritam Hari's avatar

this is very interesting, as the rat poison articles really got me thinking 0- even though i don't and never have taken VitD in a pill.

Stuart Hutt's avatar

Vitamin D is actually a hormone. It can’t be a vitamin since our body makes it. In extremely high doses it can kill rats with an LD50. I believe if you took the rat dose per lb it would be 4,000,000iu for a man. I doubt if this would kill someone. When D3 first came out in the 1920’s people were taking 25mg D3 per day which is 1,000,000iu. Pharma and the FDA have tried 3 times since the 50’s to get D3 restricted to doctors order. D3 is cholecalciferol which is what our bodies make. 25hydroxy comes from the liver and is the usual test for blood level. The FDA says 30ng/ml is sufficient. My doctor says 60ng/ml is sufficient. I say 80ng/ml is best. I was taking 5,000iu D3 daily and was at 56ng/ml. Then I went up to 10,000iu daily with a resulting 83ng/ml. Now at 30,000iu daily and 123ng/ml with normal calcium and PTH. Scientists have known since the 70’s that as 25hydroxy goes up, breast and colon cancer go down proportionally. They didn’t know why. D3 becomes a hormone required by all cells that signals the immune system and makes macrophages. Harvard recently recommended women that are pregnant have at least 60ng/ml for a healthy baby. You can’t get there without supplementing.

Dr Garland went through the different studies from the 70’s and they all showed the same thing. On Google Scholar there are more than 1,400,000 citations for D3 and cancer. Start the video at 18min. If everyone had optimal levels of iodine and D3 we would have healthier/smarter babies and cancer would go down significantly.

Vitamin E is just as effective blood thinner as any prescription blood thinner. Fluoride is also in rat poison, and in your tap water. Reverse osmosis only removes 80% of fluoride

Beth C Coddiwompler's avatar

To remove fluoride, I've been using the white filters offered by Radiant Life Catalog within a Berkey housing.

Deb.Butler's avatar

That does not remove all fluoride. Call Berkey and ask them

His Substack is nothing more than a repeated dismantling of medicine girl. I have never heard of either one of them until you shared the link to his Substack.

Stuart Hutt's avatar

Medicine Girl is against D3, Lugols Iodine, DMSO and chlorine dioxide. She is working for someone. I use all 4 with great success and benefits.

Beth C Coddiwompler's avatar

I've had the same thought.

Beth C Coddiwompler's avatar

For example, DMSO is the ONLY non-pharmaceutical that has ever gotten rid of a migraine for me. I’ve had them my whole life so this is huge. I used the method described in the book Healing with DMSO by rubbing a 2/3 aloe x 1/3 DMSO dilution on my face, neck and over my liver three times in a day.

It’s got a long safety record spanning many decades, and I’m suspicious of those who disparage it. There are a lot of paid ‘chaos agents’ out there attempting to sow doubt about self-empowerment, natural health approaches, and cheap, readily available solutions that humankind has relied upon for eons.

The benefits of the sun are much more than just vitamin D. I live in the Midwest, and I have no other option than to take vitamin D supplements when sun exposure is not possible during the winter months. Many people find themselves having to deal with this issue

AKgrrrl's avatar

The midwest? Try living in Alaska and making due with red lights. Why can't they come up with a proper "sunlamp" for those of us in northern climates?

Bryan Manson's avatar

No other option? For example a sun lamp??

Stuart Hutt's avatar

There were lights being sold in the 1920's that produced UVB and the AMA labelled them as quackery. They are available today. Although I live in Florida it is difficult to maintain a healthy 25hydroxy so I supplement with D3. It is easier to track than than a sun lamp.

Deb.Butler's avatar

Hi David, I’ve been inundated with information about the sun and vitamin D since this Substack hit the fan. Such a complex topic. You are absolutely correct that it is all about the almighty $$$, but so is EVERYTHING in the world we currently exist in. Saint Matthew, as well as Saint Luke, said:

Matthew 6:24

No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

Luke 16:13

No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Do you not recognize their foresight into the future? Keeping a positive attitude is so important, and equally difficult. My saving grace is that I base my life on these two beliefs:

1. Everything happens for a reason

2. God has perfect timing

Helps me keep my sanity, in a world that revolves around insanity.

Blessings to you, and all that are caught up in these unusual times.

I have a 10 year old cat who began having seizures at 2 years old. I didn’t want to put her on drugs; I began journaling supplements that I tried. I read a blurb about the effects of sunlight in regard to seizures, in a book of veterinarians favorite natural remedies. Her seizures began in January; they were always at night; they stopped at the end of April & started again at the end of October. I started placing SAD lamps near her favorite sleeping spots. It took some experimentation with longer & longer periods between seizures. Happy to say, she has not had a seizure for 4 1/2 years.

Deb.Butler's avatar

That is amazing! Congratulations. How is your cat?

Julie Broxic's avatar

Great! seizure free for 4 ½ years (& counting) & best of all, not on drugs for life! She will be 11, in October. I am trying to post photos; she was one of an orphaned litter that I raised…photos aren’t posting.

You are suggesting that sunlight is harmful to humans? Are you aware that the cause of skin cancer is LACK of sunshine?

Alan Davis (FlyoverAlinCT)'s avatar

Life evolved over billions of years in relationship with sunshine. IR, near IR, and UV light are essential nutrients and trigger a cascade of biophysics signaling in the body.

Check out numerous YouTube’s of ex-neurosurgeon Dr.Jack Kruse and Dr. Alexa Corwin. They focus on the quantum biophysics of life - which exists below the patentability of biochemical Rockefeller medicine.

In Australia, skin cancer is high and it’s from laying on the beach on hot sunny days and the cancer can occur later in life when unexpected. Some days can be so hot that the sun rays go through your clothes and skin cancers can form anywhere especially if you’re outdoors most of the day. However recently they discovered that most sunscreen lotion isn’t working and the sunscreen I choose has zinc in it. Modere brand sunscreen I found the best but i am using another natural brand at the moment because the brand Modere changed ownership. Still available. There are many health shops around now days and it’s good to talk to those working there and you can buy Comfrey, Arnica and also Castor Oil. However I enjoy the morning sun as it’s not as hot. Aboriginal Australians before European came along slept most of the afternoon as the sun was too hot to be out in and they hunted part the night. We enjoy our sunshine 🌞 with zinc sunscreen on, have a great day! 😊

Great work, but a few more of the basics are missing. Garlic needs it's own post, separate from onion. Dandelion...so accessible and forgotten, at least as important as milk thistle. Tumerick, Marijuana, Apple Cider Vinigar, Honey, Baking Soda, Coconut Oil. Gelatin is a basic that works as a mucosal barrier, an absorbant, a prebiotic, and a protien for structural repair...I give it out liberally. I have managed to go my entire adult life, basically without perscription or over the counter medicines. ( Haven't had a Tylenol, an Ibuprofen,a steriod, ... one week of antibiotics a Dentist insisted on.) I do use homeopathy. At my age (70) most are on half a dozen drugs.....

Outstanding article.

Sharing across my circle as I have long argued that naturopathic medicine is far more effective, less costly and complimentary to optimized human bodily function.

Makes me wonder, is there a naturopathic remedy book in hardcover for example, that catalogues in one place these information points detailed in your article as well as the balance of such remedies across the human wellness spectrum.

I can imagine such a text would be a few volumes, although I believe there is a massive opportunity out there if all this were detailed in one place. Millions of people are waking up to the scam that is modern 'medicine', particularly from the perspective of pharmaceuticals where wealth extraction from the human is the objective, not actual healing or preventative measures to not become ill in the first place.

The knowledge of natural remedies and healing compounds has been so far removed from western society, as the chain of knowledge transfer has been broken through the generations. Particularly from the perspective of the urban or suburban household, which for several generations have been conditioned to 'take a pill' with the same enthusiasm as having the socially acceptable brand of handbag, shoes or jeans adorning the well paid 'influencer'.

I believe there is a hunger among the populace for restoring this knowledge of natural medicine.

Therein lies the opportunity with the added benefit of taking the 'wealth extraction product', i.e., the human, away from the megapharma con artists and charlatans.

I have also used grated potato poultice on a recurring ankle injury in my son. Never recurred after the potato poultice. And the reason I used it was, I was absolutely broke and could not afford to go to the shop. I read in an old wives tale about grated potato, and voila it worked!

As I said in my comment - it was a recurring injury, therefore wasn't healing over time and with rest! That's why the potato poultice was such an eye-opener. OF COURSE there isn't "scientific" evidence about potato poultices, the reasons for that are covered in the essay, if you read it. There will never be "scientific" evidence for potato poultices or for any of the other healing remedies mentioned in Unbekoming's essay (and, indeed, many, many others) simply because no one is going to make money from it.

I really think you would benefit from reading the full article :)

It depends on your definition of "reliable evidence". Sounds to me like you're one of those stuck in the medical money model. Reliable evidence doesn't have to be whatever is okayed by the medical bigwigs. To me, if it's been used for centuries to heal, that's reliable. You've got to remember, the "medical money model" has only been around for 100 years or less. How do you think we survived as a species before that? By using our intelligence, and trial and error, to ascertain what worked. Seems that has gone by the wayside in recent years, sadly.

Leynia's avatar

True, But who would fund a study of potato? Also, if it worked for my gramma ( or someone else's) ,or historically for a long time, a person might as well try it or any other such treatment.

Kathy Torres's avatar

In my family the potato is used to bring down fever. I like to use lavender as well. My father-in -law used potato slices to get splinters out.

Peace's avatar

Re: controlled studies - we need to ask ourselves who, exactly, is controlling the studies. Generally they are funded and "controlled" by the very entitities who stand to profit from a positive outcome from the studies. There are countless studies that are proven to be skewed to favor the entitity (pharmaceutical company) that paid the researchers. The setup of the studies have proven to be misleading, for example not using true placebos as comparison in the biologics (vaccines) studies. When using another vaccine to compare the outcomes of the new vaccine, that is a stretch to say the outcome would've been the same if they had used a true saline placebo as comparison to the new vaccine.

#13 - Silica or Orthosilicic Acid (OSA) - that detoxes Aluminum from the body and bones. Silica binds tightly to Aluminum in the body and is then excreted.

Aluminum is cumulative and toxicity fosters inflammation, likely contributing to plaques in the arteries (and brain) - as evidenced by consuming Silica reduces plaques, in CVD and ALZ. Showing a dose-response relationship.

I’m reading about this in a book - Discovering Magic in Water… Preventing and Treating: ALZ, Autism, CVD, by Dennis N Crouse, PhD, and based upon 400+ references to recent scientific literature.

Silica is found high in FIJI water at 93 mg’s per liter. (For example compared to 15 mg’s per liter in Evian) Appendix I - Bottled Silica waters of the world.

THANK YOU!!! for this amazing compilation. I imagine it’s many pages long, but I want to print it and re-read and study it - and have it handy (should the grid go down 😉 )

David Kukkee's avatar

Hi Jody, I have something to offer: the herb, Horsetail, grows in silica rich soils which are flooded, and is very high in Silicic acid, the vitamin form of silica needed to maintain and restore connective tissue. I have used it for a long time, and initially used it to successfully avoid surgery on the acromion, the joint between the clavicle and scapula, worn out from very hard work. Horsetail has many benefits aside from restoring joint health, but I have determined that painful joints ARE NOT necessary, by my own experimentation. No side effects that are negative are known to me. I harvest the Horsetail, dry it and capsulize the powder, and use three capsules per day any time I feel a joint is getting needy. About fifteen years ago, a Neurosurgeon wanted to know why my joints were so nice. I think utilization of Horsetail, i.e. the reintroduction of silica into the everyday diet of most people would reduce the incidence of joint replacement. Horsetail becomes economically super important in that category, MAKING IT # 13 a. (Thank you! I learned from your post.)

What stayed with me here is the streetlight problem.

Not every old remedy deserves romance, of course. Some grandmothers were wise; some were just very confident with onions. But the larger point feels uncomfortably precise: evidence is not only discovered. It is also funded, framed, and sometimes quietly not pursued.

That distinction matters.

Another wonderful article Unbecoming,❤️

I can certainly speak for Organic Caster oil, it works wonder on my dry skin.

DMSO is the best "discovery" by far, being quite injury prone I have tested it on numerous burns, damaged arms and legs, where it has removed pain and reduced healing time.It even cured a reoccurring Mixoid cyst, and a friend‘s Tinnitus.

I have bought other items here and look forward to using them with your excellent guidance.

Thank you 🙏for helping us avoid the Doctor's Surgery and Big PHarma’s Drugs.

Tinnitus? I suffer from that…how did you administer the DMSO to cure it?

Helen Seymour's avatar

I used 70% DMSO 30% distilled water just rubbed

outside behind ear where ear joins scalp ,tiny dabs inside ear, with wet little finger.

I did not expect it to work,my friend had had it for 3 months and been to doctors to have ears checked twice.Apply morning lunchtime evening ,it went in 2 days .

Try a patch test to make sure you are not allergic.Wash and dry area.It can sting a bit

at first.I use it on my skin and it stings but settles down in half an hour.

There is a (mostly )successful trial re Tinnitus here.

No change in noise level, Dr examined his ears again, offered no treatment!

I keep 70% DMSO /30% distilled water.I use on burns ,injuries. I washed round his ear,and very slightly inside ,( it was only one ear) dried it, then applied with my little finger outside and down to where ears meet skull, dabbed inside at 9.00 ,11.00.he said the noise was easing and ear felt clearer/ less blocked, 1.00 again.it was gone by the afternoon and has never returned. The Midwestern Doctor has case studies of Tinnitus treated with DMSO drops.
