How does this protocol stand up to the biological assaults of today (almost everything is found via dark field microscope at 200x magnification to contain hydrogel filaments, quantum dots, self assembling nano tech and/or synthetic biology)?
This is a very concise account of the function of the liver & gallbladder. And from a holistic Homeopathic point of view very true of how and why we become at a dis-ease. Whilst as you say diet plays a huge re in the dubious of the liver - gallbladder. And then our emotions. But also the emotions can firstly negate the problem in the first instance. Is if you are frustrated / angry with a situation that you are not willing or able to first identify them rectify. This emotional imbalance will cause a disruption and dis-ease on a physical level too. So what the mind suppresses the body expresses. ......

What about malic acid capsule(s) dissolved in 32 oz water? I believe I would really benefit from this involved procedure as I'm having some serious gut issues (SIBO-d, borderline diabetes, gallbladder/liver discomfort); but the lengthy diet restrictions and repetition of the protocol give me pause.
Yeah malic acid is another alternative to apple juice during prep. You don't need to dissolve capsules, using the powder is easier (just make sure it's L-malic acid either way). 1 teaspoon (5 - 6 g) of pure malic acid powder dissolved in 24 to 32 oz (.75 to 1 liter) of water per day.
I know a lot of people who've followed this protocol. Not everyone sticks to Andreas Moritz's dietary recommendations. Many eat normally till the last day of prep, just adding in a source of malic acid, and then follow the protocol for the 6th day.

I'm wondering, how is one keeping their gallstones cleared away naturally, without need for any cleanse?
