As I laid on the operating room table I screamed "no shots and no eye ointment" as they pulled him out of me and took him to the other side of the room to do their obligatory "testing" and whatnot.
The pediatrician yelled back "IT'S THE LAW!".
"SHOW IT TO ME!" I screamed back. (No reply.)
A day later, I was visited and interviewed by a woman from "Child Welfare" while I recovered (in a private room... why was I given a private room??) from a traumatic, excruciating, unplanned and very badly botched cesarean section.
That happened over 29 years ago. I still remember and am suffering PTS in doing so now.
The Canadian Medical Industry didn't get my boy until over 24 years later when, as an adult, he secretly acquiesced to being fully Pfizered in order to have his "freedoms" partially restored by Turd-Eau et al.
He is now "vaccine" injured. "Incurable" autoimmune disease.
"Oh well".
You can't despise, or fight, the guvmint enough folks.
OMG they smear a newborn's eyes with antibiotic salve? I have no children and was born and raised in Europe and this is so appalling! Just like the vitK (which is still very un-research obviously) and the numerous jabs for babies and kids. America is totally off when it comes to health-care. It is rather sick-making!
Thank you!! The assault on precious babies is unconscionable! My first baby's eyes were so swollen after the ointment (she's 40) that my husband called her Mr. Magoo. So sad 😥 My fourth grandchild came into the world in his home in a warm tub, dim lights, my son in law delivered him and no interventions at all. He is so incredibly healthy and a happy, chunky, chill baby. When he was a few weeks old one of his eyes got gunky. My daughter texted her midwife who suggested squirting breast milk in his eye. Worked like a charm.
It was such a COOl birth experience! She invited me to be there. I'd never experienced a home birth before, and it was every bit as wonderful as I thought it would be!
Just knew you and your grandson, would have a great bond!
Mum didn't speak about it much to be fair. I'm unsure if my health, or brother and sisters are healthier because of. Possibly until other interventions and life events occurred. Without finding my records that mum kept in individual memo books, unsure how many vaccines/ inoculations and childhood illnesses were recorded. Here in England there weren't nearly as many jabs as in America, but they still didn't benefit us!
Crucially, all excepting the youngest were breast fed, so protections/microbiome would benefit all through life so much more than formula. Youngest sister, not breast fed, had much pain in her childhood, unbelievably thought to be 'growing pains'. In her teens she had one of those school jabs. For years the injection site was raised, then at age 14, eventually rushed into hospital. Five days after admission, diagnosis with Ulcerative Colitis. Turned out to be the youngest in Europe ever diagnosed. Endless blood transfusions, hospital admissions for the next 3-4 years, with all kinds of symptoms. She never had operation, mainly due to being too weak to undergo major surgery.
In the past ten years, her consultant, read from her notes, roughly along the lines that, 'mother obsessed about no surgery, it would likely kill her, even if Sue survived it.'
So..... where does this lead? For me, it means allowing nature and ancestral wisdom be centre stage all through life. Least medical/pharma/big food interventions the better.
For the record, I'm late 60's, haven't been near a doctors office for ten yrs. My wellness, my responsibility and ownership.
So sad about your sister :( Is she still living? The youngest to be diagnosed with UC in Europe?! Incredibly sad! And I'm sure they put nothing together as far as her teenage vaccine. Vaccines are not beneficial - ever, in my humble opinion!! Thankfully, I didn't get very many as I'm 63. They didn't jab the heck out of us back then....I had 4-5 vaccines, I think. My kids all got their jabs because I didn't know then what I know now. My first 3 grands are all pretty much up to date and at least one had the covid jab :( We tried to talk to them but they wouldn't listen and it caused a rift for a few weeks. We mended it, thankfully. My grandson threw an ever living fit when they took them for the Covid jabs so he didn't get it. I say it's the best fit EVER!! Not sure about the youngest one as she was a baby at the time. The youngest grandbaby hasn't had any jabs and my daughter will not jab him. I'm excited to watch him grow up without all of these interventions and having had a peaceful home birth.
I'm with you....I do see a naturopath, who is great!! And we pay out of pocket for that, as it's not covered by our insurance - which is just fine by me. I like being "out of the system". I take much responsibility for my health and I eat very well - meat raised on grass, we have our own eggs, raw milk when I can get it and a garden. It's been nice chatting with you :)

Blimey, that midwife is incredible. She certainly isn't a system indoctrinated worker within the birth industry operating in England.
