No wonder they shut down the beaches during “Covid” and tried to ban NAC, a precursor to sulfur, for the activation of detox pathways, the methylation cycle.
Finally, common sense. I’ve said for a long time now that the nutraceuticals have become the new Big Pharma. Create the problem and create the solution. I grew up in the late 50s and beyond. I never saw anyone stacking pills to be healthy. We ate healthy homegrown food and meat. We drank real milk. Obesity was rarely heard of. As for the Ocean, I’ve always said those people were healthier even back in the day. Lucky them. While we can’t all live on the beach I truly hope we can put Mother Nature back to where she was. We’d all be better for it. Thank you. This was an enlightening article. 👍
great line "I never saw anyone stacking pills to be healthy." me either. and now, many think 'if you care about your health, you should be taking supplements . . ."
Fascinating read! Thankyou!! I actually had no idea that marine phytoplankton create that DMSP/DSM ocean 'smell'. My kids were asking some stuff about the oceans the other day, so I might let them know about this info! I think they'd find it interesting.
And yes, science magazines many moons ago used to be good reading. Not so anymore...
Funny you should mention organophosphate usage leading to manganese taking up the spaces of the depleted copper. Where I used to live, heavy farming country (cattle & sheep, mostly), they'd even drop phosphates from a plane onto fields, sometimes! I remember calling my neighbours and getting annoyed with them for not telling us, like they legally should have, that they were going to have a plane do exactly that overhead - when I was at home breastfeeding my 3rd child! I would've gone out for the morning had I known!
But every farmer around there seemed to use phosphate. It was...gross. Huge piles of it. Dumped, and gradually trucked over the fields. The water in the next town I used to work in was disgusting and smelly - because of too much manganese in the water, among other things. Even when you filtered it, it was still awful. So much phosphate from over-usage ended up washing into the river, and making the water practically undrinkable because manganese had taken over. I always wondered why there was such a high Mn level. Now I specifically know why the excessive organophosphate usage from farming caused it!
That whole areas is pretty 'dead' in my books, though. I visited it last year, and wondered how I'd ever lived 16 years in the area! So brown. So dead. So dry. So cold. No wonder the farmers use phosphates. If they didn't, almost nothing would grow there. Bye-bye livelihoods, right?
To think I moved there. Well, it was for work. Bad idea in the end, I suppose?! I grew up 5 minutes from the beach! Spent almost a quarter of a century 5 minutes from a beach. Sure, it was in a major city, but I loved that seaside smell. And I do miss the ocean. I love that salty sea air. At least we're only an hour from a beach now.
Anyway, in the dead area, we lived quite rurally, and were on tank water. We had our tanks cleaned out every year or two, plus we had a new roof, a whole house water filter, plus sediment & chemical (carbon) filters for the water we drank. I loved that water! But I sure didn't like seeing all that phosphate being used all over the place.
So glad I subscribe to you, Unbekoming. You pass on such a wealth of information!
Both! Although NZ is naturally much more lush than Australia, so perhaps they use less there, but who knows?
All I know is that Australian farmers LOVE to use chemicals on their land, and the good old Australian government allows some pretty nasty ones, too, that are often banned overseas.
Very interesting about thr phytoplankton creating the Breath of the Sea. The ocean is life and when I read about the gyres, it is very disturbing, what mankind is doing using the Ocean as a garbage dump. My daughter started raising chickens for eggs, a few years ago. She feeds her "girls" the best organic produce and seeds. I read chicken eggs are a good source of sulfur. I learned that dairy is not for me. I wound up with a rapidly growing tumor back in 1976 from eating dairy recommended by a nutritional doctor. When I stopped it and only ate raw fruit and vegetables the tumor was gone in less than three months. The composition of cow's milk is designed for the massive 500 pound growth of.a baby calf in its first 9 months. It is the first food of a species, which has no teeth. The composition of human breast milk is for the 14 pound growth of a human infant in its first year. The excess growth factor in the milk of the bovine species feeds the growth of tumors in the human species. Cheese made from cow's milk has an excessive amount of protein and fat. The Scandinavian countries that use lots of dairy have high rates of heart disease and cancer.
Very interesting! There are so many things about life we just are not taught that we should know. I wonder if thunderstorms also bring it out, being that they can give you a similar feeling to being at the beach? (I know it’s typically related to negative ions and what not, but what don’t we know?!)
I found the food aspect very interesting! I feel better when I eat a lot of raw foods and it’s always attributed to enzymes, but again, the things we don’t know that are affected by cooking which impact us are being shown here. Our little simple minds go to things we think we understand, but then another door is opened showing us it’s way more complex than we knew. When will we as an entity finally recognize this instead of making broad generalizations over a tiny, tiny bit of info? Haha, human nature is crazy.
But what I noticed is that both raw fruits/veggies have it along with properly pastured meat & raw milk. I notice that because people will get well and thrive both on raw vegan diets and on carnivore diets— these two are on seemingly opposite ends on the spectrum and the people doing either fight each other quite a bit. I always wondered how they both could work so well. I figured it had to do with individual needs, living locations on the Earth, elimination of processed foods, etc. etc. But now I wonder if it is related to this? It’s the same need being met with both types of food. Very, very interesting to ponder.
Plus, the raw milk issue. So many people are heavily indoctrinated that it is harmful. Posts on social media will quickly bring out the fear mongers. It’s just… what have we done to ourselves?? When you look at everything: we are literally poisoning our air, land, water, homes, and bodies, we are defiling our food and acting as if there is no other way, that it must be done. Just what are we doing? It seems as if we have lost things we didn’t even know about while thinking we were so progressive.
I just LOVE the ocean, it always leaves me feeling renewed. I also notice that the colour of the flowers there are much brighter and seem to glow with the amount of energy the plant has ❤️, probably due to the DMS given off
The Dominion of The Beast, needs this depopulation agenda(Starvation by Proxy) to stay in dominion, as you can see this dominion has been planned for a very long time... BigOyl, BigpHarmus, and Artifecal Insidiousness, is the icing on The poop pie, they want you all to eat and be happy...
I heard about MSM over 15 years ago. I take at least 2000 milligrams daily. When I forget I start to feel soreness first in my thumb knuckle. Once I start again and go to 4000 milligrams and I feel better wthin a day or two.
I am 70. Not on any drugs. Play pickleball 3 times a week and golf. Very healthy for my age. I attribute it partially to supps. Primarily MSM and DHEA. and NO shots.
Simply excellent work. So well done. Thank you. So it seems that DMSO, a by product of the paper industry, a solvent that comes from trees, is actually originating in the sea. Makes sense to me. I just love it when the dots are connecting. This Essay on the Sulphur Cycle is valuable to me.

I thought they shut down the beaches so we couldn’t get sun and swim. This makes so much sense! Psychopaths
It was all the above.
They'll be making all beaches inaccessible to us before the end of this century, or earlier assuming we survive long enough.
Hell to the no!
Garlic
Several other foods too, but NAC is excellent! You’d have to eat a lot of garlic😉
I always feel a long lasting buzz after returning from the beach.I find myself craving it as if a drug , a good drug ,Great stuff again by Unbecoming!
Speaking of sulphur & the skin, if you research the best homeopathic remedy for eczema, the top recommendation is sulphur.
Sulphur happens to be an angram of 'hr lupus'. Lupus is a skin condition.

where is it that they use so much phosphate in sheep & cattle country? Oz or NZ?

All those years spent at sea may have been beneficial.
Well done as always and much appreciated!

Lots to consider here in my Parkinson’s work. I went down the sulfur amino acid rabbit hole. Time to look anew with fresh eyes.

I use DMSO with my chicken who have had episodically "nervous" afflictions, wry neck etc. and it does wonders.
