Everything about Offitt's writing, starting with the titles of his books, sounds over-the-top, not to say unhinged. Interesting that such polemics are acceptable from the Big Pharma side.
The titles alone should compromise the book contents' credibility with an intellectualy honest reader. Which leads to the conclusion that these books are to inflame the pitchforks and torches crowd--and to intimidate any authorities who might try to contain them.
If all the people filling their pockets were removed from government and Big Everything, the handful that is left might be worth keeping. Beware of all the people with letter words behind their names. And beware of all the letter words - CIA, FDA and the likes are indeed, creepy.
I wonder whether the word "Amish" appears anywhere in Offit's book. Are we supposed to forget that they don't jab their kids?
It's unfortunate that people chose to fight compulsory vaccination with religious exemptions because that tactic depends on an evasion. Atheists have just as much right to refuse vaccination for themselves and their kids as Christian Scientists do. Establishing the right of *every* individual to direct the course of his own life and health, and by extension the lives and health of his minor children, doesn't require a religious foundation. Whether one believes that rights come from God or exist as the fundamental requirements of man's nature, they apply to everyone regardless of his religion or atheism. Forced medical interventions in healthy people are immoral whether the force is applied by private actors like doctors and nurses or by governments. Criticially ill minors who can't act in their own defense and whose parents won't do so are a separate issue. Offit introduces that issue only to confuse the debate, because without it the moral question is as simple as it gets.
Rights as a moral concept pertain to freedom of action: freedom from compulsion, coercion, and interference by others. They're the sanction of a positive, of someone's freedom to act on his own judgment to achieve the goals that he voluntarily sets by his own uncoerced choice. The only obligation people's rights can impose on each other is negative: to abstain from violating others' rights, and the only way rights can be violated is by introducing force into human relationships. Contrast that definition with today's dominant cultural belief that people are the means to each other's ends and not ends in themselves. That's the theme running through Offit's book and his entire career: You exist to stick out your arm so the value of his portfolio will go up. If you won't do it voluntarily he'll introduce force by getting his friends in the government to imprison you. It's not the fact that money's involved that's the problem: Plenty of people get rich by producing a product or service that other people voluntarily agree to buy. That's a trade. The problem is Offit's view of humans as something less than human, and that view is what makes him a monster.
Paul Offit and Peter Hotez both are disgusting. I count Francis Collins in the same screen shot of contemporary detestable eugenicists. None of these "men" are welcome at my house. Ever.
Years ago, I read about Offit working in a public health capacity refused to even see parents who were upset about their children being forced to take vaccines, which had harmed them. Offit's main concern has nothing to do with the people the vaccines have harmed. Its all about the profit, the vaccines will bring in. Lab-created Vaccines destroy the internal glands and organs...and those that promote and use them are ignorant and know nothing about the human body. The body was designed to run on a fuel called natural unprocessed food. Any other matter will break it down. The AMA sets the curriculum for Med school...it does not promote nutrition and lifestyle information, which Hippocrates taught...which brought him recognition for his cures. The word medicine originally was FOOD....not toxic matter ingested or injected into the human body. Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine said, "Let Food be Your Medicine; and Medicine be Your Food."
It's amazing that the most despicable people are often the most self-righteous. And when Offit stands before his Creator he will held to account for every injured or murdered child, for every destroyed family, for every grieving parent, brother, sister, or child. And for what? A few extra bucks for a few short years? In exchange for an eternity of regret and suffering? Stunning.
Offit and his ilk are just fronts for the entire Rockefeller medical monopoly. If it wasn't Offit, it would be someone else. That there even are such things as "Professors of Vaccinology" at universities should tell you something. Who founded the University of Chicago? The Rockefellers. Who founded the first allopathic medical school there and the AMA? One guess and it starts with the letter "R". Offit may make millions from patent royalties. So do thousands of other researchers. But the real guys behind it all have made trillions.
I have a brother that most assuredly agrees thoroughly with off it. This opposition to understanding is religious in belief and expression. Marketing based on propaganda works on fear and emotions in order to sell fallacious ideas and make a profane profit.

The difference between the three? Collins espouses Christianity but hides behind it to promote things that are anathema to the Faith.
It makes Collins the worst, though that is not saying much as they are all despicable.
