California had a similar program before it eliminated exemptions altogether (MEs still technically exist in CA but are near impossible to obtain, as the state medical board went after doctors who had written even just one ME, disciplining them, delicensing them, requiring that they rescind the MEs they had previously written, and requiring 5 years of probation and monitoring by another MD if they wanted to continue practicing medicine in CA in some cases).
A year ago, I wrote an article, “MAHA Report Card: Grade F”. In it I covered the rights a doctor has versus those a parent has:
“DOCTORS’ “RIGHTS” TO KILL, HARM, POISON, AND DISREGARD PARENTAL KNOWLEDGE AND CONSENT ARE PROTECTED WHILE PARENTS’ RIGHTS TO PROTECT THEIR CHILDREN FROM SUCH DOCTORS AND PROCEDURES ARE NOT PROTECTED

I, too, give MAHA mixed reviews as they are less effective than I thought they should (note the word 'should') be. Thinking about it though, I am wondering, given the level of brainwashing and adherence to experts so prevalent in our health system, would a shotgun approach work? Even now, with people dying of convid shots, there is still a segment (a large one) who still want vaccines, refusing to believe what their own eyes are telling them.
What would happen if RFK, Jr just mandated that ALL vaccines are voluntary and went to Congress to demand liability protection be removed? What if he spent all his energy lobbying Congress, only to find out that they are bought and paid for by big pharma? So that would never happen.
Inverting the food pyramid may not sound like a big deal, but with our addiction to fàst food, cleaning up fast food, while portraying cooking as fun may yield better outcomes. How embedded with pharmaceutical moles are our agencies, like the CDC? Can he just take the shotgun approach, get rid of them all without restructuring the agencies to make sure this can NEVER happen again? He can, but without a Congress that is free of pharmaceutical moles, he may get impeached; what good will.that do?
Those who are critical of this 'slow approach' are because the Trump administration doesn't use authoritarian measures to reach the end result. Without OUR (the people) taking responsibility for ourselves, this would change the moment Trump left office. As long as we use experts, this will NOT happen; we have to be weaned off the experts, to learn how to do our own research and learn that we, not the experts, must take control of our health. I would give them an F as far as vaccines are concerned as my wish is everything is voluntary. But giving them an F overall, I would not, just because WE, THE PEOPLE, are irresponsible when it comes to doing our own research in that we refuse to do so. Until that happens, nothing will change.

That's an interesting argument. So let's apply it to cholesterol and saturated fat, both of which are produced endogenously, yet are considered harmful by the medical profession; drugs targeting cholesterol are among the most profitable on the planet, and for decades we've been discouraged from eating saturated fat despite a quarter million years of evolutionary history.

Just stop. There is *never* a justification for compulsion--for force or the threat of it--to be wielded against people who haven't initiated it themselves. No victim, no crime. Parents who decide not to vaccinate their kids aren't initiating force against anyone. They aren't creating victims. The state is. In any disagreement, the side that initiates the use of force is wrong and no further discussion of the issues is required or even appropriate.
