I found it very hard reading this… in fact, I skipped parts of it. Because the PTSD associated with the intervention roller-coaster that I blindly “consented” to during my labor & my son’s first few months, that directly resulted in pretty much everything described above, still reduces me to tears after 18 years. Those bastards bullied me into an induced birth, caused chorioamnionitis, pumped both him & me full of antibiotics, injected him with neuro-, immune-, and gut-destroying toxins. And the rest is history. Not being able to nurse him killed me. The ER visits when he projectile vomited. The relentless colic. The expense involved in trying to find something he could tolerate… all while causing more harm. Then the years of pediatric “interventions” of 1 kind or another, all of which caused permanent neutoimmune injury. Not to mention the $50,000-100,000 in out of pocket expenses trying to find a functional doc to recover him. It’s 18 years later & he/we still deal with the iatrogenic injury caused by allopathic medicine.
I DESPISE OBGYNs & pediatricians with a burning passion that I will never get over. They harmed me. Worse, they harmed my child.

Then, all the information I was given by my son's pediatrician was bogus...and caused the baby's health problems. My daughter never saw a pediatrician 54 yrs ago. Healthy and never had a cavity as well. My only grandchild has been in the clutches of pediatricians since birth. The results have been life changing in very bad ways, sadly.

Since there are only so many procedures you can perform on a child, they make their real money on vaccines. Now those GLP1s are being prescribed to kids more and more. I have a friend who is a PhD nurse practitioner and has volunteered for stints in war torn African countries for Doctors Without Borders. when it came time for her to have her first child, she hired a midwife/doula and had it at home. a few years later, she hired the same woman to assist in the birth of her second child, also at home.
I had a Haitian Uber driver once who told me that when his wife was having their first child, the doctor tried to scare them into having a preventative caesarean! he warned them of all the "bad" things that could happen during a normal birth! but being Haitian, she knew that in her home country, women would squat in the kitchen or the field and push out a baby. she had to sign an Against Medical Advice form!
for their second child, they planned to travel back to Haiti so she could have a normal birth without the pressure. the Uber driver said to me, "they don't know how to have babies in the United States!" obviously.

How can a baby be allergic to something that has been feeding them from the beginning of human kind? Maybe looking into the interventions introduced during pregnancy and at the early stages of a newborns life should be questioned and avoided?
I had my baby 54 years ago. Breastfed as long as she wanted. As soon as I found myself pregnant I just told myself billions of women have done this from the beginning of humanity. I can do it too. I had another mother as a mentor when I breastfed and I could talk to her. She had just had her second child. I also had the Lalecha group’s book. I followed with the Adele Davis nutrition books. It was a very lovely moment in my life. Unfortunately, my only grandchild has not had a similar upbringing.
I was born in 1953. my mother was told that "modern" formula was "scientific" and so much better and more convenient than dumb old breast milk. she reasoned that breasts were there for a reason and breast fed me anyway for which I am eternally grateful

mothers in small villages to use formula, lying about safety and convenience (good grief!) though clean water and sanitation was not around. This led to sick babies. The evil greed of it is unconscionable. For me the thought of dragging bottles around, mixing and sterilizing blah blah was a no go anyway. I don’t hold it against moms who don’t or can’t however. I’ve bought plenty of untruths myself.

I instinctively knew that breastfeeding was the only way, but no one really knew much about real nutrition back in the 1950s. I intended to nurse, but I had pills forced on me in the hospital...and they dried up my milk. I didn't know what else to feed the baby, so I went to a pediatrician for advice. His formula was evaporated milk and corn syrup...and my baby cried for over three months...He was being starved to death. No nutrients in this concoction. It took years, before I finally got into nutrition; and more years, until I found nutritional information that was valid. Nursing should be simple..eat natural unprocessed food with high water content to get enough fluid.. The most important part is to take it easy and not do so much...relax. Years ago I observed a friend whose milk flowed like water. She was entirely laid back and simply focused on her baby....and not worrying about the housework.
In the early 70s breastfeeding was making a comeback and I got some support. My doc heartily agreed it was best. I had a mentor friend and the book. This subject is close to my heart.
My wife could not breast-feed. 50 years later I learned she was deficient all her life with a lack of sufficient vitamin D in her body to turn on the milk gene after my children were born.
Prenatal care protocols as well as new infant treatment protocols should be revised not for the benefit of the drug companies and the baby formula companies who are now controlling the scenario to maximize their profitability.
